Page For New Issue

Sorry for the lack of posts, but my brother and I have been working hard on the script. I hope to get a new page up about every 3 days or so. Here is the first page of the new “first issue.” I will put an image with captions as soon as we figure out the best way to put them in. Acrylics, colored pencils, and markers.

I learned a lot while doing this page. Hopefully they’ll get better and faster as I go along.

Master of Puppets Vinyl

This is a commission I just completed for a co-worker. Vinyl is a tough surface to work on when you want to keep the black of the vinyl itself as the background. The surface is very sensitive and offers little room for error or, unfortunately, correction.

I painted with acrylic on Metallica’s Master of Puppets.

The concept is that the buff dude is the Master of Puppets and he is making his rebellious creations “obey their master.”

Color Sketch – Arm and Axe

This is a random sketch I did. I was trying to modulate my colors with my new technique and found out that it works fine. That’s about it. It’s pretty basic, but I figured I’d post it for the hell of it.

Treason Threesome

Another work using the same method: acrylic, markers, colored pencils, and acrylic again.

The Treason Threesome is a mercenary group, hired by Walden and directed by a prim Waldenite ambassador,  that constantly disobeys and commits treason daily, but are tolerated nonetheless for their skills in butchery.
