Big Clean: Part 5, Pg. 18

I integrated all the experimentation I’ve been doing in Part 5 into my standard methodology. I’m happy with how it turned out… so I’m glad I put in all that work pushing my style.

We wanted to get the whole “jumping the shark” thing out of the way very early on.

Part Three – Updated

I went back to Part Three and resized, value/color corrected, and did some other various things to the pages. Basically, I prepped them all for printing. All the pages are updated on the blog now. Part Three will be in Heavy Metal Magazine, issue #276 (August).

Here’s the next page. I feel like I’ve experimented enough with the style, at this point. I’m probably going to try to incorporate everything I’ve learned into my usual look (which I’m missing). But we’ll see… I’m always trying new stuff. I get bored easily.

Part 5 feels like an experimental EP compared to my usual “album” style.

I’m going to have to revert to the old “post whenever I can” approach, because these pages and my methodology have been really unpredictable as of late… and I’ve had a lot of other stuff to do, on top of it.

Sorry about this becoming a one page week, but I had a lot of other stuff to tackle… Monday is the start of a new week, and I’ll be going back to two pages.

Some stuff

Some work related stuff has come up over the past two weeks that I need to deal with pretty promptly. So, just like last week, there might only be one page this time around. Hope you all understand… Just how it goes, sometimes.

Also, if you haven’t noticed, I haven’t been able to stick to my “weekdays only” plan… Pages are being unpredictable (as usual). A lot of the time, I’ve been posting pages on Saturday and Sunday.
